Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Terms
These terms cover optional paid plans in the Navigster User app, including purchases by parents, guardians, and eligible adult student users. They explain the introductory trial, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds. Navigster is provided by Workbees Technologies. Read these terms together with https://navigster.com/terms and the purchase details displayed before you pay.
What a plan pays for
Navigster provides digital transport information and related app features. A subscription does not pay for a bus seat, institution transport, or an emergency response service. Transport charges and arrangements remain between you and the institution or transport operator.
Standard institutional platform access carries a ₹0 platform fee under the current offering. Drivers do not need to buy a User app plan to perform their assigned driving functions. Optional user plans are Essential and Pro; the purchase screen identifies the features included in each available plan and the account or student links it covers.
A paid plan does not grant access to an unassigned student, route, or institution. Live information depends on an authorised active trip, available GPS and connectivity, and the permissions needed for the feature. Arrival times and boarding-status estimates remain estimates; payment does not turn them into guarantees.
Prices and purchase details
Before confirmation, the purchase screen shows the plan, included features, full payable amount, currency, taxes or charges, billing period, start or activation rule, and whether renewal is automatic. It also shows any introductory offer, the later price, and how to cancel. Your receipt records the transaction through the applicable payment channel.
A “per day” price is a daily equivalent for comparison unless the purchase screen explicitly states that billing occurs daily. The total charged for the stated period is the purchase price. We do not charge an undisclosed fee or treat acceptance of general terms as permission to take payment.
Only use a payment method you are authorised to use. A parent or guardian should make purchases for a child. The payment provider may require authentication or a separate mandate for recurring charges. Keep the transaction reference, but do not share passwords, OTPs, card security codes, or full payment credentials with support.
Introductory Pro trial
Eligible new user accounts receive 30 consecutive calendar days of Pro access from first successful account activation, once per account. The app shows the trial end date. This introductory grant does not create a payment mandate and does not automatically charge you when it ends. Continued paid access requires you to select and authorise a plan.
The trial runs continuously, including weekends and institution holidays. It is not a count of bus journeys. Reinstalling the app does not restart it. A separate promotion applies only on the clearly disclosed terms offered to you; we do not silently convert this no-charge introductory grant into an automatically renewing subscription.
Billing and renewal
Prepaid plans. You pay for the stated period. The plan expires at its displayed end time unless you make a new purchase. There is no automatic renewal unless you separately authorise it.
Automatically renewing plans. If offered and selected, the plan renews at the price and interval shown before confirmation, until cancelled through the relevant billing channel. Review the renewal date and provider instructions. Do not assume a request made after renewal will reverse a completed charge.
Calendar-based plans run continuously through weekends, institution holidays, and days you do not travel. They do not pause automatically when no trip is active. Failed or pending payment does not establish a new paid entitlement; the app reflects any grace period supported by the actual billing provider. We do not represent a pending payment as a completed purchase.
If payment succeeds but access is missing, use the purchase restoration option where available or contact support with your transaction reference. Do not buy the same plan again merely to repair an activation error. Changing phones does not by itself cancel a subscription. Access on another platform depends on the account and purchase compatibility disclosed for the plan.
How to cancel renewal
Open Menu > Account > Manage subscription. Follow the controls for the channel that billed you. Cancel before the renewal time shown by that provider and keep its cancellation confirmation. Navigster does not charge an additional cancellation fee.
Google Play purchases
Manage the subscription through the Google Play account used for the purchase, under Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions. Select Navigster and follow the cancellation controls.
Apple purchases
Manage the subscription through the Apple Account used for the purchase, under Settings > your name > Subscriptions, or apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Select Navigster and follow the cancellation controls.
Other supported purchases. Use the renewal or mandate controls shown in Manage subscription and on the receipt. If a direct purchase offers no working cancellation control, contact support so we can stop future billing that we control. A subscription is not cancelled merely because you disable app notifications.
Cancellation normally stops the next renewal while paid access continues until the current period ends, unless a refund, account deletion, applicable law, or the disclosed purchase terms changes that result. A prepaid plan needs no renewal cancellation if no mandate exists. Cancellation alone does not automatically refund the current period.
Expiry and account deletion
When a trial or paid plan ends, features requiring that entitlement become unavailable unless another valid entitlement applies. Support, privacy requests, and account-deletion routes remain available. Your plan ending does not stop the bus trip, cancel institutional transport, or remove another user's access.
Deleting the app, logging out, or deleting your Navigster account does not automatically cancel an app-store-managed subscription. Cancel renewal separately through the original billing channel. You may request account deletion without waiting for the paid period to expire; deletion removes account access even if a paid period remains. See https://navigster.com/delete-account.
Refund eligibility
For a change of mind or ordinary non-use after paid access begins, a refund for unused time is not automatic. Eligibility depends on the disclosed purchase terms, the billing provider's rules, and applicable law. This does not exclude remedies for duplicate charges, unauthorised payments, undelivered access, deficient service, misleading descriptions, or other legally protected claims.
Duplicate or incorrect charges
Send the relevant transaction references so we can investigate. We arrange or support correction of confirmed billing errors through the channel that processed them. An apparent pending bank authorisation may differ from a completed charge; we will help clarify its status.
Paid access not delivered or materially defective
Contact us with the affected dates and a short description. We investigate and provide the remedy required for the circumstances, which may include correction, a service extension where appropriate and agreed, or a refund. Troubleshooting is not used to postpone a legally required remedy indefinitely.
Permanent loss of promised paid access
If we discontinue a paid feature or permanently lose the ability to provide it to your linked institution, we offer a proportionate refund for unused prepaid access to the affected feature, subject to any greater legal entitlement. We stop future billing that we control and help with store-managed cancellation and refunds. Referring you to a store does not remove our own obligations.
For withdrawal of an entire plan, the proportional starting calculation is the amount actually paid for that period multiplied by the unused portion of the period. For a withdrawn part of a plan, we explain the allocation and calculation rather than assigning an arbitrary value. Any greater remedy required by law takes priority.
A temporary absence of an active trip, an institution holiday, or your decision not to travel does not alone establish a service failure. If institutional suspension, a route change, or removal of your student link makes paid features unavailable, contact us for a review of the cause, remaining access, and appropriate remedy. Suspension does not automatically forfeit every refund right.
How to request a refund
Use https://navigster.com/support or email support@navigster.com. Provide your account identifier, plan, billing channel, transaction reference, payment date, and reason. Attach a redacted receipt only if needed. Do not send complete bank or card details. Report suspected unauthorised charges promptly to the payment provider as well.
For Apple purchases, submit the request through reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play purchases, use Google Play's refund-request process or contact us for help with the transaction. Store-managed refunds follow that store's process; we provide information and cooperate where needed. Direct-payment refunds are handled by Workbees and its payment provider.
We acknowledge consumer complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month, or sooner where required. Once a refund is approved, we explain the amount, payment route, and expected processing time. Bank or store crediting time may differ from the approval date. Refunds normally return through the original payment method; any necessary alternative is verified and explained. We do not require acceptance of store credit instead of a cash refund where a cash refund is due.
Plan changes and revised terms
Before an upgrade, downgrade, or replacement purchase, we show the new features, effective date, charge, and any applicable credit. We do not assume that every store prorates changes in the same way. Do not create a second subscription while expecting the first to cancel automatically.
Price changes apply prospectively with the notice and consent required by the billing channel and applicable law. We do not retrospectively increase a completed purchase price. We normally give at least 30 days' notice of a material adverse change to these terms or planned standard-service closure, subject to the urgent legal or security exceptions in the general Terms. Refund rights for paid access we cannot continue remain available.
These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights. For a billing complaint or a review of our response, use https://navigster.com/support and the grievance contact listed there. The Privacy Policy at https://navigster.com/privacy explains how account, payment-reference, and support information is handled.
